NESsT (www.nesst.org) develops sustainable social enterprises that solve critical social problems in emerging market economies. In the last 15 years, NESsT has launched and invested in over 100 social enterprises in 10 emerging market countries through a unique and innovative portfolio methodology that combines capacity building, investment, and sector building. NESsT’s unique methodology builds the business skills for organizations and entrepreneurs to grow their social enterprises sustainably while providing a diverse package of capital (venture grants, loans and equity) to invest in social enterprises from early stage incubation through scaling. NESsT advocates for early-stage social enterprise support to develop investment-ready social enterprises that will succeed in the long-term.
